Alum tawed, and smoketanned sheep hides grown and tanned on Vancouver Island. As well as yarn made from fibres 100% grown, spun and dyed on Vancouver island. I have both hand spun and mill spun yarns which include local sheep, alpaca, and angora fibres, I use some acid dyes, but I focus on botanical dyes which I forage myself on Vancouver island.
